Pat Walsh
Executive DirectorPat Walsh is a Co-Founder & Executive Director of DunPort Capital Management. Before establishing DunPort, Pat was Head of Irish Investments at BlueBay, where he was responsible for the establishment and subsequent deployment of the BlueBay Ireland Corporate Credit fund. Prior to joining BlueBay, Pat was a Director and Head of Restructuring at IBRC in Dublin. This role involved the development and execution of resolution and recovery strategies for a €4bn portfolio of corporate and business banking loans. Prior to the nationalization of IBRC in 2009, Pat was responsible for the establishment and development of a team responsible for the origination,execution and portfolio management of equity, mezzanine and senior secured leverage finance and general corporate debt facilities across a wide range of sectors.
Before that, Pat spent two years setting up and developing a Corporate Finance Advisory business for Andersen in Dublin where he advised a number of mid-market clients in relation to debt and equity fundraising and for twelve years before that he was with Ulster Bank, Dublin and Bank of Ireland (City Office, London) , managing a portfolio of domestic and international corporate clients.

Ross Morrow
Executive DirectorRoss Morrow is a Co-Founder & Executive Director of DunPort Capital Management. Prior to establishing DunPort, Ross was a Senior Analyst at BlueBay, where he was responsible for the origination, execution and management of debt investments in Irish SMEs. Ross also worked in the debt advisory and restructuring team at Lazard, where he advised European middle market and high yield borrowers. Joanne Butler
COO & Head of Investor RelationsJoanne is COO and Head of Investor Relations at DunPort Capital Management. Prior to joining the Company in 2022, Joanne spent over 7 years as a senior portfolio investment manager with the Ireland Strategic Investment Fund (“ISIF”)— ISIF is the Sovereign Investment Fund of Ireland, which manages a diverse global and domestic portfolio of over €9bn. In this role, Joanne led a team of investment professionals on a number of large direct private equity and private debt transactions across food & beverage, aviation, climate, financial services and also oversaw a number of fund investments into domestic and international businesses on behalf of the fund.
In the earlier part of her career, Joanne worked in Corporate Finance, M&A Advisory and Transaction Services with Deloitte Corporate Finance and Smith & Williamson in Dublin and as an investment associate with KKR-Avoca Capital in their European CLO business.

Joanne is COO and Head of Investor Relations at DunPort Capital Management. At DunPort, Ross’s main priorities relate to the ongoing monitoring of the loan positions within the existing Elm & Oak Credit Corporate vehicles, as well as the origination of private debt investments.
Across each of BICC, Elm and Oak vehicles, Ross has helped to directly originate, and subsequently monitor in excess of €200m worth of private debt transactions, with recent transactions including Rephine, Modern Networks and BoilerJuice. Ross is now based in our London office.
Prior to BlueBay, Ross worked at private equity company, Emerald Investment Partners on a variety of sectors but mainly in their Nursing Home investment, Carechoice, executing on Emerald’s buy and build strategy within the sector.
Ross graduated from Trinity College Dublin with a BA in Business and Economics and also holds an MSc from the Smurfit School of Business, University College Dublin. He is also a Chartered Financial Analyst having successfully completed his exams in June 2021.

David Gilbane
Investment DirectorDavid is an Investment Director at DunPort Capital Management, having previously joined BlueBay as an Investment Analyst in November 2016. David is responsible for the monitoring and origination of new private debt investments with David having managed in excess of €100m worth of transactions across a variety of different sectors including renewable energy, food & beverage, hospitality, and childcare. David has recently worked on transactions including NoBlue2, Cargostore, Tiger Childcare, and Walsh Whiskey. He acts as an observer on the RRBC board of directors and has worked closely with management providing the support required for the business restructuring and subsequent growth phase.
Prior to BlueBay, David spent 2 years in Bank of Ireland where he worked on the Global Leveraged Finance team in Dublin. This role involved the management of a portfolio of mid-market European & US leveraged transactions. In addition, to monitoring a portfolio of performing assets, David was involved with the “Challenged” portfolio monitoring a number of assets which had underperformed. David had other roles during his time there which included rotations in Global Markets on the Corporate & Institutional Sales desk and on the Wholesale Funding team.
David holds a BSc. in Economics and Finance from University College Dublin and is a Charted Financial Analyst having successfully completed his exams in June 2018.

Aidan Lynch
Investment DirectorAidan is an Investment Director at DunPort Capital Management, having joined the company in June 2017 at the time of the spin out from BlueBay. At DunPort, Aidan is responsible for the origination and monitoring of private debt investments in Ireland and the UK, with recent transactions including EMED Group, Schivo Medical and Goals Soccer Centre.
Aidan acts as an observer on the board of directors of Goals, Hibernian, mAdme and UTS and is also responsible for monitoring investments in Trinity Homecare, EMED Group, Schivo Medical, AIL Group and Bakers + Baristas.
Prior to DunPort, Aidan was an Investment Analyst at BlueBay Asset Management, where he worked on the BlueBay Ireland Corporate Credit fund. Prior to BlueBay, he worked on the Global Leveraged Finance team at Bank of Ireland in both Frankfurt and Dublin. His role involved the origination and management of leveraged loans within the European private equity market. Investment DirectorNiall is an Investment Director at DunPort Capital Management having joined the team in 2018. Niall’s role includes the origination, execution and monitoring of new private debt investments in Ireland and the Netherlands. Recent transactions include Oak’s investments in Therapie and Innopharma and Niall is also responsible for monitoring Birch’s interest in Abbey where he acts as Observer to the Board.
Prior to joining DunPort, Niall was an Associate Director on the KPMG Transaction Services team where he carried out due diligence assignments and advised clients in relation to both buy side and sell side M&A transactions across a broad range of sectors. During his time with KPMG, Niall worked on and advised clients with respect to over 40 M&A transactions.
Niall has also gained significant restructuring experience while working with specialist corporate recovery and restructuring firm Friel Stafford working on over 100 restructuring assignments during that time. These assignments included Member and Creditor Voluntary Liquidations (MVL and CVL), bank and NAMA appointed Receivership assignments together with the conducting of Independent Business Reviews on behalf of senior creditors.

David O’Connor
Director of Finance & OperationDavid is Director of Finance & Operations, responsible for fund structuring, analytics and model oversight. David is also involved in investor relations and in DunPort’s ongoing fundraising activities. David has over 16 years’ experience in the financial sector, including roles in private equity, corporate finance and investment consulting.
Prior to joining DunPort, David worked with National Broadband Ireland, a telecoms company responsible for the roll-out of fibre broadband in rural Ireland, and Granahan McCourt, a telecoms focused PE firm that established NBI. Previously David held roles with KPMG Corporate Finance, Aon and Ulster Bank.
David has a first class honours degree in Economics and Finance from UCD, and a Masters in Finance from UCD Smurfit School. David is a Fellow of Chartered Accountants Ireland and is a Chartered Financial Analyst

Prior to this, Elaine spent four years working as Finance Manager with the Irish subsidiary of US tax service provider – H&R Block. Before this, Elaine had worked in the financial services sector for more than 15 years, working as AVP in Finance with JPMorgan Bank (Ireland) Ltd – a fund administration company, as Financial Controller with Tranaut Fund Administration (Ireland) Ltd, a hedge fund administration company, as Chief Accountant with Fortis International Finance (Dublin), a corporate lending company, and she started out her financial services career with ING Barings, a fund administration company, working in both the custody and management accounting departments here.

Carla Boyle
Associate - Investor RelationsCarla is an Associate on the Investor Relations team where her responsibilities include investor reporting, operations and marketing. She is focused on investor communication and process improvements.
Prior to joining Dunport in November 2022, Carla was an Investor Relations Associate at Brookfield Asset Management in Toronto, Canada where she worked in the Brookfield Oaktree Wealth Solutions IR team and prior to that she worked as an Intermediate Financial Analyst in Northleaf Capital Partners, Toronto, Canada where she worked on the private credit operations team.
Carla holds a Master’s (LLM) in International Business Law from Queen’s University Belfast and a bachelor’s degree in Corporate Law (International) from University of Galway. She holds a Diplome d’Etudes Superieur from Université Montesquieu-Bordeaux IV, France. She also completed the Canadian Securities Course in January 2022.

Seán Healy

Conor Lyons
Financial and Fund AccountantConor is a Financial and Fund Accountant at DunPort Capital Management having joined the team in October 2023. His role is a blend of fund accounting and more traditional accounting associated with a small to medium sized business.
Prior to joining DunPort, Conor worked in fund services for 3 years as a Senior Fund Accountant at Alter Domus, with a focus primarily on private debt clients.
Conor graduated with a BBs (Honours) in Accounting from MTU and is a member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA).
Conor is a Financial and Fund Accountant at DunPort Capital Management having joined the team in October 2023. His role is a blend of fund accounting and more traditional accounting associated with a small to medium sized business.

Alistair Empey
Junior Investment AnalystAlistair is a Junior Investment Analyst at DunPort Capital Management, having joined the team in May 2023. Alistair holds a degree in Economics and Business from Trinity College Dublin and has joined DunPort on an internship before beginning an MSc Finance at Rotterdam Business School in September 2024.

Iain Burnett
Investment Committee ChairmanIain is the Chairman of the Elm Corporate Credit Investment Committee. Iain joined BlueBay Asset Management in 2008 as a Partner and Senior Portfolio Manager responsible for illiquid and alternative credit investment funds. In this capacity he was responsible for the establishment and oversight of BlueBay Ireland Corporate Credit in 2013 before retiring in 2016.
Prior to joining BlueBay Iain was a Managing Director at Morgan Stanley where he was responsible for the European Special Situations and Distressed Debt group. He began his career in 1987, spending seven years in the private equity market before moving into the fields of financial restructuring and distressed debt investing with Royal Bank of Scotland and West LB. For the last 26 years he has focused on non‐standard or illiquid credit, playing a lead-investor role with companies such as Courts plc (retail), Borussia Dortmund (sports/entertainment), Kiekert AG (automotive), Polestar Group (printing) and Boxclever (equipment rental).
He continues to act as a consultant and investor with a variety of early-stage companies. Iain holds an honours degree from University College London.

Eugenée Mulhern
Investment Committee MemberEugenée is a senior adviser in A&L Goodbody advising public and private companies and private equity on a range of transactions and advisory mandates including equity and debt financings, mergers and acquisitions, corporate structuring, capital returns, corporate governance and securities law.
She is a former Director of Davy Corporate Finace with 20 years experience in advising many of Ireland’s leading public companies on equity fundraisings, debt financing and refinancing, debt restructuring, group reorganisations, and mergers and acquisitions. She has acted as financial adviser to a number of high profile initial public offerings across multiple sectors, and numerous secondary fundraisings by way of placing and rights issues. She has also acted extensively on bid defense and for offerors and strategic investors. Eugenée has served on the Executive Committee of the National Maternity Hospital Holles Street from 2011 to 2020. Eugenée holds an honours degree from NUIG and a masters in commercial law from UCD and masters in business administration from Trinity College Dublin. She also holds a certificate and diploma in Company Direction from the Institute of Directors.
Eugenée is a senior adviser in A&L Goodbody advising public and private companies and private equity on a range of transactions and advisory mandates including equity and debt financings, mergers and acquisitions, corporate structuring, capital returns, corporate governance and securities law.
She is a former Director of Davy Corporate Finace with 20 years experience in advising many of Ireland’s leading public companies on equity fundraisings, debt financing and refinancing, debt restructuring, group reorganisations, and mergers and acquisitions. She has acted as financial adviser to a number of high profile initial public offerings across multiple sectors, and numerous secondary fundraisings by way of placing and rights issues. She has also acted extensively on bid defense and for offerors and strategic investors. Eugenée has served on the Executive Committee of the National Maternity Hospital Holles Street from 2011 to 2020. Eugenée holds an honours degree from NUIG and a masters in commercial law from UCD and masters in business administration from Trinity College Dublin. She also holds a certificate and diploma in Company Direction from the Institute of Directors.

Tony McArdle
Investment Committee MemberTony served as the Chief Executive Officer of Retail Banking and Head of Corporate Banking of Ulster Bank, as well as holding a number of other senior positions. Mr. McArdle served as Chief Executive of Lombard & Ulster. He worked at Ulster Bank for 35 years.
He serves as the Chairman of TifCo Limited and non-executive director of Merrion Fleet Management and Appian Asset Management. He served as a Non-Executive Director of Kingspan Group PLC since joining in June 2003 until May 9, 2013. Mr. McArdle also served as a Director of Ulster Bank.
